I Made It to New York!

My Route Across the USA, May 2013

First off, I am going to apologize for not blogging during my cross-country journey from San Francisco to New York.  I did have every intention to post a blog at least once a week, updating on my progress and what I was doing.  Every night I got to my hotel and I did not feel like dragging out my laptop and writing.  I just wanted to relax, read my Kindle, and check the map or brochures or whatever for the next days’ adventure.  The blog started to feel like a job that I had to do, and it became an annoying little nagging in my head.  Then, I realized, hey, I don’t want to do this, so I won’t.  Instead of writing about my trip, I’ll just enjoyed it.  Now that I am at mom’s house in New York, and I am going to be here awhile I have some time to write and reflect.  So, below is a summary of my trip “by the numbers”.
