Now i see your October Japan visit. I hope you had a chance to visit remote old traditional environments. You’re encouraging me to stay up with the times. I’m just now trying to follow my nephews and nieces on Facebook, which my wife and I share under my dog’s name:) And guess I’ll have to try Instagram now… take care!

  4. I have read some of your first blog posts and I swear, I felt like I was reading something I had written verbatim. We’ve been to many of the same countries….and now I see you are about to go to one of my top 2 fave countries, Iceland. Ahh, you are going to LOVE it. Absolutely magical. Would love to follow you on IG but I see you weren’t really keen on making it public. If you would allow me to, that would be great! I am my_openroad on IG and yes, I am public. I struggled with being public for a long time, as I am a private person, but I have made many travel connections on IG now, so I’m all for it these days. I have never taken off on the kinda journey you have taken off on, but I travel as much as possible, given my current parameters. 2015: Egypt, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, India. And then Iran first of 2016. Oh and how I found you….your answer to the Solo Travel Society question recently posted 🙂 I answered right above you. 🙂 I am getting closer and closer to taking of quitting my corporate job and taking off on a longer term trip….reading the answers on your Q&A on your blog may be a nudge in that direction. Like I said, I felt like I could have written it. 🙂 In any case, good luck to you and enjoy Iceland!! I still gotta get back to the West Fjords.

    • So glad to read this! I added you on IG. Email me anytime with questions about full time travel. I have had many people inspire my jump, so I am always willing to pay it forward. 😀😀😀
